TEAM BUILDING
TURNOVER:
In business it is a hidden profit zapper. A quick and effective way to add
directly to your bottom line is to reduce the loss of your good people.
There is a magic bullet for keeping your employees....show you care about them.
We think a GREAT way to do this is to provide them a chance to enjoy family
time, and off-work time, with each other in our Corn Maze.
Corn Mazes are being used all over the country for corporate team building
groups and corporate parties of all sizes. With our Corn Maze as the setting,
your company can create a company picnic, or challenge your employees to make
correct decisions (involving teamwork, problem solving & communication) towards
a common goal...the one and only exit.
You’re only limited by your own imagination as to how to create an exciting
project for your employees. We offer a Self-Facilitation Guide
and Teambuilding Basics to give you some ideas on how you may want to set up
your challenges. You can also go to
www.teambuildinginc.com which has
some other great ideas.
We also have Team Building Passports available (these are sheets with 10
questions on team building) which you can incorporate into your challenge.. As
you proceed along the trails you will find 10 numbered posts where you can
answer that specific numbered question. The correct answer will turn you right
or left in your quest to find the exit. Another challenge, of course, would to
be sure ALL questions are answered in the correct numerical sequence, meaning,
you’ve taken the correct trail ALL THE WAY through the maze.
An example question from the passport:
1. The primary success factor for any team is...
A. The ability to share equally among all team members (turn right)
B. Bonding between team members (turn left)
C. A clearly defined mission understood by the team (turn left)
The Corn Maze will be open from Thursday, September 25, through Friday, October
31, 2008
for groups. The cost of the field trip is $6.00 per person. Tours are subject to
good weather and irrigation schedule.
(irrigation is scheduled for Oct. 6 through Oct. 9, 2008). The trails in the Corn maze are wheel chair accessible.
Picnic tables are available in the grassy area inside the cornfield & in the
back yard of the house for lunch or meetings. You may bring your own lunch, have
pizza delivered or buy snacks food or drinks from our
Snack Bar here. (Snack Bar
only open when Maze is open to the public; water will be available for
purchase other times). Or
